A little about me...
I currently live in Cincinnati with my husband Brett, and our 2 children Rory + Robin.
How I got here...
My love for photography for me first began in the dark room in High School. I loved the entire creative process of exploring light, developing, and seeing an end result.
After graduating from college with my film/communications degree I decided to take a year off and live in San Francisco. During that year I began to realize that photography was my true calling and something I wanted to pursue as not just a hobby but my career.
I would describe my approach as “Environmental Storytelling.” We live in a culture that emphasizes sharing our personal stories, and photographs are an integral part of that narrative. The fact I get to make connections with so many strangers- who then become like family is one of the most rewarding parts of being a photographer. Being a part of someone's wedding day, then being able to document them in the role as new parent's, and watching their family grow throughout the years is something I never take for granted.
My main goal whether it's for your wedding, family portraits, branding photos, or just for fun. I want to capture you in the most authentic, genuine way possible (all while making it fun and stress-free). What is most important to me is creating work that matters to both of us, and something you will cherish forever.
I'm excited to capture your story.
