A little about me...
I currently live in Cincinnati with my husband Brett, 3 year old son Rory, (and beloved cat Frances)...
How I got here...
My love for photography for me first began in the dark room in High School. I loved the entire creative process of exploring light, developing, and seeing an end result.
After graduating from college with my film/communications degree I decided to take a year off and live in San Francisco. During that year I began to realize that photography was my true calling and something I wanted to pursue as not just a hobby but my career.
I would describe my approach as “Environmental Storytelling.” We live in a culture that emphasizes sharing our personal stories, and photographs are an integral part of that narrative. The fact I get to make connections with so many strangers- who then become like family is one of the most rewarding parts of being a photographer. Being a part of someone's wedding day, then being able to document them in the role as new parent's, and watching their family grow throughout the years is something I never take for granted.
My main goal whether it's for your wedding, family portraits, branding photos, or just for fun! I want to capture you in the most authentic, genuine way possible (all while making it fun and stress-free). What is most important to me is creating work that matters to both of us, and something you will cherish forever.
Let's capture your story. I'm excited to hear from you!
